TEN people were taken to hospital after a retirement village bus and a utility collided in Thornlands last week.
Police said the ute and the minibus crashed near road works on Boundary Road at about 11am on Thursday.
The 31-year-old man driving the ute was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with head and arm injuries.
The eight senior citizens on board the bus and the bus driver were taken to Redland Hospital with minor injuries.
They had been on their way back to Adventist Retirement Village in Victoria Point after a weekly shopping trip to Capalaba.
Adventist Retirement Village manager Wayne Gredig said everyone on the bus would make a full recovery.
“They were all wearing their seatbelts so nobody was badly injured,” he said.
He wished to thank the staff at Redland Hospital for their service.
