Driver nabbed twice

A Victoria Point woman, 33, was charged with drink-driving twice in one night.

A police spokesman said the woman had been stopped by police about midnight on Sunday after reports of reckless driving at the Cleveland McDonald's drive-thru.

The woman registered a blood-alcohol reading of 0.231 (nearly five times over the legal limit).

She was charged and had her licence suspended.

She was arrested again after police discovered she had driven her car home from McDonald's, this time registering a blood-alcohol reading of 0.17.

She was then charged with a second drink-driving offence and one count ofdriving unlicensed driving.
