Homes, school attacked in graffiti spree

A number of houses and fences in Railway Parade, Thorneside, were graffitied overnight on Tuesday, June 23.

Also included in the spray paint spree were traffic and light poles.

In a separate act of vandalism, black Nikko pen was used to graffiti walls at Wellington Point Primary School between 6pm on Friday, June 19 and 5am on Monday, June 22.

Alexandra Hills

Theft of a GPS system, cash and passport from a vehicle parked in Windemere Road between 9am on June 22 and midnight on June 24.

Break and enter of a house in Queens Court Road between 3am and 3.30am on Thursday, June 25. Two laptops were stolen.

A small fire was started in a children's playground in parkland off Windemere Road at 6.30am on Friday June 26.

A handbag was stolen from a trolley in Alexandra Hills Woolworths at 1.40pm on Sunday June 28.

Alexandra Hills High School on Windemere Road was broken into between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on Sunday June 28. A window of the sports hall was smashed with a brick, leading to the theft of an aluminium baseball bat, two footballs and a tennis racquet. Cupboards inside the sports hall office were also rummaged through.

Birkdale

Theft of CDs from a Toyota Camry parked in Duck Street between 11.40pm and 11.45pm on Wednesday, June 24. A street sign was used to smash the front windscreen..

Break and enter of the Redland Multi Sports Club in Randall Road between 11pm on Wednesday, June 24 and 1.36am on Thursday, June 25.

Attempted break and enter at a house in Sunnybank Drive between 9.10am and 5.30pm on Friday June 26.

Break and enter of a house in Victory Place between 2am and 9am on June 29. A plasma TV, DVD player, 30 DVDs, jewellery, perfume, a Playstation and some cash were stolen. Graffiti was left on cupboards in the garage.

Capalaba

Theft of registration plates (939 CKU) from a Holden sedan parked in Howlett Road between 5.30pm on Monday, June 22, and 5.30pm on Tuesday, June 23.

Vandalism of a Jaguar car parked in Camrose Street between 1am and 8am on Wednesday, June 24.

Break and enter of a house in Echidna Court between 1pm and 2.30pm on Tuesday, June 23. Cash and a camera were stolen.

A window at Capalaba Sporting Club was smashed by a bowling ball at midnight on Wednesday, June 24.

Theft of two fuel cans containing fuel from a business in Old Cleveland Road between 5pm on Tuesday, June 23 and 7am on Wednesday, June 24.

Break and enter of a house in Pittwin Road North reported on Tuesday, June 23.

Rocks were thrown at glass panels of a Moreton Bay Road store between 9.15pm on Thursday June 25 and 3.30am on Friday, June 26.

Cleveland

Theft of a wallet from a desk at Suncorp in Middle Street between 2pm and 2.30pm on Tuesday, June 22.

Theft of a digital camera from Cleveland High School between May 15 and June 15.

Coochiemudlo Island

Break and enter of the Isle of Coochie Golf Club between 7am and 8am on Thursday, June 25. Nothing was stolen.

Garage doors, windows and guttering of a construction site on South Street were graffitied between 5pm on Thursday June 25 and 6.30am on Friday June 26.

Ormiston

Theft of 10 hot water heaters from a property in Delancey Street between 12.01am and 1.05am on Thursday, June 25.

Redland Bay

Break and enter of a house in Seagrass Court between 1am and 7am on Tuesday, June 23. Theft of money, a handbag and purse.

Break and enter of a house in James Street between 10am and 11.25am on Thursday, June 25. Theft of gold and silver coins and a Toshiba laptop.

Theft of a stereo and speakers from a Commodore sedan parked in Weinam Creek carpark between 5.30pm on Wednesday, June 24 and 6am on Thursday, June 25.

A man and a woman were seen trying to break into cars parked on Bedarra Street at 1.15am on Tuesday June 30.

Thorneside

Red paint was sprayed on the fence of a property in Ethel Street between 10.30pm on Saturday June 27 and 9am on Sunday June 28.

Victoria Point

Vandalism of the Lifeline store at Victoria Point Shopping Centre between 5.45pm on Wednesday, June 24 and 8.45am on Thursday, June 25.

Rock thrown through a glass window of a hairdresser in Bunker Road between 5.15pm on Wednesday, June 24 and 8.10am on Thursday, June 25.

The window of a house in Judy Close was smashed when someone threw a rock at it between 11.15pm and 11.45pm on Monday June 29.

Youths were seen throwing eggs at motor vehicles on Colburn Avenue between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday, June 27.
