The plight of Redlands' Koala Coast was high- lighted in ABC program Stateline last Friday night. The program featured comments from Redland City Deputy Mayor Toni Bowler, University of Queensland koala researcher Dr Frank Carrick, executive director of the Australian Koala Foundation Deborah Tabart and Member for Cleveland Mark Robinson.

Recent clearing of a six-hectare site at Thornlands for a new public-private partnership state school was the focus of the program.
