RBA leaves interest rates at 4.25%

The Reserve Bank of Australia has left the official cash rate unchanged at 4.25 per cent.

Leading economists had expected the Reserve to drop rates 25 basis points.

The hold on rates comes after the federal bank cut the official cash rate in November and again in December.
