The 2009 event will feature the full Gold Coast Airport Marathon over 42.195km, Asics Half Marathon, Southern Cross University 10km run, Gold Coast Bulletin 5km Challenge (run/walk) and Queensland Health Junior Dash (4km/2.25km).

Runners lining up from Redlands include Stephanie Callahan, of Thornlands (half marathon); Myles and Angela Wydell, of Birkdale (10km); Greg Day (half marathon) and Jordan Day (10km) of Cornubia; Cleveland father and son Guiseppe (10km) and Alexander Strati ; Ian Leckenby, of Cleveland (half marathon) and Mark Flynn, of Wellington Point (marathon).
