Seven-year-old Cleveland girl missing

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a seven-year-old girl who went missing from her Cleveland home last night.

Rachel Palmer was last seen at the McLeod Street residence around 8pm and has not made contact with her family since.

Her family and police hold serious concerns for her safety and a search operation is currently underway in the local area including Henry Ziegenfusz Park.

Rachel is described as being Asian in appearance, approximately 115cm tall, brown eyes with dark brown curly shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing a light grey nightie down to her knees.

Anyone who may have seen her or has some information about her whereabouts is being urged to contact Cleveland Police on (07) 3824 9333.
