 Unit plan concerns residents

Unit plan concerns residents

10 Dec, 2009 03:49 PM
Residents of Aramac Court, Capalaba and surrounding streets are invited to a resident meeting to discuss their concerns and possible future action regarding a 271 unit, six building development set to be built there.

The block of land is opposite Capalaba Park and had already received approval from Redland City Council for 52 townhouses, after the application was opened for submissions from neighbours.

But because the new application is zoned the same density as the pre-existing approval, residents in Aramac Court were not contacted about the proposal despite their street forming the sole entry and exit point for the development.

Residents will meet in the Aramac Court cul-de-sac on Sunday, December 13, from 9.30am.
