THE campaign to help Sienna Goong is gaining pace.
Dean Sully, owner of Sully’s Hairdressing at Wellington Point, is driving a new fundraiser to raise the $6000 needed for a specialised car seat for Sienna in the Goong’s family car.
“Once a year we are doing a fundraiser for Sienna at Hogan’s. Our aim is to reach as high as $10,000, but anything is better than nothing,” Dean said.
The fundraiser will be held on Sunday, February 28 from 3pm at the Wellington Point Hotel.
Irish band Tullemore Tree led by ‘Scruffy’ will play live music, and raffle tickets priced at $20 will be sold to raise money for Sienna.
First prize is a $5000 trip with Tullemore Tree to Mt Isa on the St. Patrick’s day long weekend in March.
Tickets are also being sold from both Sully’s Hairdressing and Chemmart Wellington Point in the leadup to the event.
