WELLINGTON Point State School student Joshua Crombie has booked a passage to the Australian National School athletics titles at Homebush in Sydney in December after coming first in the 200m final at the recent Queensland schools' carnival.

Joshua, who was competing in the 10-year-old division, ran the fastest time in his heat and then came first in the final.

Later, Joshua and three other Metropolitan East students combined to come second in the 4X100m relay.
