CLEVELAND resident Bec Murray is the number-two pole dancer in Australia.
The 23-year-old pole dancing tutor was awarded second place in Miss Pole Dance Australia 2007 in Sydney after impressing judges with her planned seven-minute routine accompanied by music.
Bec had qualified for the nationals by placing second at the state finals last year.
“It’s really addictive – super addictive,” Bec said of her sport.
Bec, who is expecting a baby in June, is about to move with her partner to Bundaberg temporarily where she plans to open a branch of Girlfriend Fun and Fitness. The company runs pole dancing classes locally at the Goodlife gym at Alexandra Hills.
