THE Point Lookout Surf Live Saving Club will receive nearly $12,000 in State Government funding to support beach safety operations and surf rescue patrols.

Coochiemudlo Island Surf Live Saving Club will receive a similar grant.

President of Pt Lookout SLSC, George Hill said the grant was great news fro the club

The funding goes to directly servicing the community with the majority of this money going straight to the beach for much needed patrol gear and other vital equipment.
