NORTH Stradbroke Island surfer Lincoln Taylor finished second in the prestigious Billabong Pro Junior at Port Stephens NSW at the weekend.
Finishing behind Tahiti's Tamaroa McComb, Lincoln maintains second place on the ASP Australasia Season ratings.
He is looking extremely strong to qualify for the ASP Billabong World Junior Championships in Sydney in early January. The top four on the 2008 Pro Junior Ratings qualify for Australia.
McComb and New Zealand women's surfer Paige Hareb won the Billabong Pro Junior putting Australia's top Pro Junior surfers to the sword at One Mile Point at Port Stephens to win the junior men's and women's divisions.
