Police are investigating an armed robbery in Cleveland on Thursday night, when a bus driver was held at knifepoint.
Initial information suggests a man hailed the bus on Passage Street around 7.15pm, before entering the vehicle and threatening the driver with a knife.
The man then grabbed the driver’s cash tin and fled on foot.
The driver and three passengers who were on the bus were not physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian, in his 20’s and with a slim build. He was wearing black pants, a black jumper and a black balaclava.
