Softball bats, gloves and wallets were stolen from the Cleveland Visitor Villas in Bloomfield Street on Friday night.
The gear belonged to a visiting softball team from Singapore, in Redlands for an international tournament, which was washed out over the weekend.
Drugs found in car boot
A 26-year-old Mt Cotton man has been charged with possession of $220,000 of a dangerous drug after police found a stash of crystal methylamphetamine in a car on the Gold Coast on Saturday.
Uniform police stopped the man's vehicle on the Pacific Highway at Robina at 5.30pm.
They said the man was driving a hire car and allegedly from Sydney to Brisbane when stopped.
A search found 570gm of a substance believed to be crystal methylamphetamine, also known as ice, in a portable safe in the boot.
Detectives from the State Crime Operations Command's State Drug Investigation Unit assisted with investigations.
He was released on bail and will reappear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on June 25.
