THORNESIDE’S Robert and Patricia Davidson recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

The couple first set eyes on each other while working at Edgell’s Cannery in Cowra, NSW .

After short engagement they wed on May 17, 1952, in Pat’s home town of Young, and boarded a train to Sydney for their honeymoon.

The pair recently embarked on their ninth cruise to celebrate their anniversary.

Robert and Pat are parents to Robert, Kathy, Will, Gary, John and Sam (deceased), and have 25 grand-
