The 2012 Redland City Inspiring Seniors Awards are on again and the nomination closing date has been extended to Friday, June 29.
The annual awards will see 10 of Redland City's most inspiring seniors honoured at a special Redland Inspiring Seniors ceremony during Seniors Week in August.
Now in their fourth year, the awards acknowledge the work Redland seniors do for the city.
The seniors (people aged over 55) could be your neighbour, relative or friend who for years has worked for a local club or organisation, advocated for changes or given freely of themself to help whoever they could whenever they saw a need.
With one inspiring senior to be selected from each council division, be sure to lodge your nomination for that special senior, or senior couple, with Susan Denne at Blue Care on 3824 4555 during office hours by June 29.
