BOTH north-bound lanes on Moreton Bay Road, Capalaba west, have reopened after a car crashed into a bridge just before 3pm.
Police diverted traffic along Old Cleveland Road and drivers were urged to use other routes into Brisbane.
Police at the scene said initial reports of a person trapped in the car were incorrect.
Two passengers were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital both in a stable condition.
The accident occurred along a stretch of Moreton Bay Road, west of Mount Cotton Road.
