A MAN sitting in his parked car was assaulted and robbed in Middle Street, Cleveland, on Thursday, July 12.
A police spokesman said the man had been waiting in his car around 2pm when he was approached by another man who smashed the driver's side window, grabbed him by the thoat and stole $200.
The assailant is described as Caucasian with blond hair, of medium build, and wearing dark coloured jeans and a black t-shirt.

lVienna Woods State School on Heffernan Road was broken into overnight on Thursday, July 12.
The tuckshop window was smashed and drinks and food stolen. A bag rack was also damaged.
A witness reported seeing four male youths and a female aged between 14 and 15, in the school at the time of the incident.
*Several hours later, the Alexandra Hills State High School uniform shop was broken into. Several pairs of tracksuit pants were stolen. It is not known if the incidents are related.
*A house in Tamarix Street was broken into overnight on Wednesday, July 11. A back door was jemmied open.
*Vandals threw a letterbox through the front window of a house in Sherwood Court at 10.30am on Monday, July 16.
Capalaba
A child care centre and a bakery in Greenup Court were broken into at around 11pm on Sunday, July 15.
Thieves broke the security alarm at the child care centre, and damaged the fence, back door and electrical box at the bakery.
Cleveland
A passenger broke the back window of a maxi taxi at Cleveland train station by head butting it around 12.20am on July 14.
A police spokesman said the taxi had been carrying nine passengers when they began to argue with the driver about the fare.
A back seat passenger head butted the window, breaking it and cutting open his head.

*Windscreen wipers were pulled off a car parked at Victoria Point jetty overnight on Tuesday, July 10.
*The back window of a car parked on Bunker Road was smashed overnight on Wednesday, July 11. Nothing was reported stolen.
*Vandals attacked Victoria Point State School between 6.30pm on Friday, July 13, and 1.30am on Saturday, July 14. Several lights, walls and louvres were broken.
*Two wheelie bins outside a Turkish restaurant on Bunker Road were set on fire at 6.45pm on Monday, July 16.
