Redland tourist operators dominated the Moreton Bay and Islands Tourism Awards last night, taking out eight category awards.
Redlands Kayak Tours won the Tourist attraction category, Redlands Indigiscapes won the Eco Tourism award, and Big Red Cat won the Major Tour/Transport Operator.
Stradbroke Island Events picked up the award for Specialised Tourism Services, Fishes at the Point won the award for Excellence in Sustainable Tourism and Straddie Kingfisher Tours won the award for Tour Operator.
Macleay Island Accommodation won the Standard Accommodation category and Mount Cotton Guesthouse won the Deluxe Accommodation category.
The awards are conducted by the Moreton Bay Task Force consisting of Redland City Council, Moreton Bay Regional council and Brisbane City Council.
The awards, in their third year were hosted this year by Brisbane City Council at Dockside in Brisbane.
