PHOTOJOURNALIST Nigel Brennan spoke about his kidnap ordeal in Somalia when he visited Victoria Point Library recently.
Nigel travelled to Somalia with Canadian reporter Amanda Lindhout in 2008. The pair was abducted by a criminal gang, brutalised, and kept in isolation and ignorance.
After more than a year of stalled ransom negotiations, the Brennan family realised the Australian government can do no more to help them, and they take matters into their own hands.
The Price of Life, written by Nigel, his sister, Nicky, and sister-in-law Kellie, is the story of the fight for Nigel freedom.
