Chorus in national competition

Redland Rhapsody Chorus is hoping to do the Redlands proud in 2013.

RRC members will fly to Perth to compete against choruses from all over Australia at the Sweet Adelines International Convention from May 17 to 19.

They are up against stiff competition and have been working very hard. Two of their quartets, Quatramania and Natural Blend are also competing.

The past three months have been intense, with chorus members attending extra rehearsals and weekend workshops with international vocal and expression coaches.

Their singing style involves glittering costumes, wonderful four part a cappella close harmony singing and vibrant choreography.

If you are a woman who loves to sing why not come along to one of the group's Tuesday night rehearsals at Alexandra Hills. After the competition is a great time to join because the chorus will start preparing for its 2014 Show at Redland Performing Arts Centre.
