RedFest 2012 is firing up for a great weekend of fun and excitement in September.
This year marks the 54th year of the festival, and it will have all the favourite attractions of years gone by, including strawberry eating, side show alley, rides, sample bags and games, animal displays, spectacular fireworks, a terrific kids' program, art, craft and photography gallery.
The beautiful lantern parade will feature hundreds of smaller lanterns and truckloads of huge amazing lanterns in all shapes and colours.
RedFest president Patrick Burke said the entertainment program would be headlined by international star Leo Sayer on Sunday afternoon, Mental as Anything on Saturday night and a large variety of fantastic performers.
"The RedFest Drama Festival is an exciting addition to the program this year, featuring two days of one-act plays at the Victoria Point State High School theatre, as well as children's theatre and drama workshops," Mr Burke said.
"RedFest is still the best value festival around. No other events offer such a large variety of entertainment for the one low admission price for the whole family."
RedFest is on September 7, 8 and 9 at Redladn Showgrounds Norm Price Park, Cleveland.
Tickets are available at the gate.
