SEVERAL Redland softball players received awards at the 2012 Softball Queensland Awards Dinner earlier this month in Brisbane.
Four were named the most valuable players of various state teams while four were also recognised as the players' player of a range of state teams.
Andrew Blackshaw, Marshall Kronk, Alisha Prybyszcuk and Aaron Whitefield were named the most valuable players of the Queensland Patriots open men's, state under 19 men's, state under 17 girls and state under 17 boys teams respectively.
Shaun Goffer, Tania Puketapu, Marshall Kronk and Aaron Whitefield were recognised as the players' player of the Queensland Patriots open men's, state under 19 women's, state under 19 men's and state under 17 boys' line-ups respectively.
