The finals of the 200m individual medley, Coutts's signature event, will be held at 5.43am on Wednesday after the heats were held on Monday.
Coutts will also race in the 4x100m medley relay, the heats of which start on Friday, August 3, at 8.45pm (AEST) before the finals are held on Sunday, August 5, at 5.07am (AEST).
Also on Wednesday, pint-sized gymnast Larrissa Miller, from Wellington Point, will compete in the finals of the artistic gymnastic team at 1.30am (AEST) on Wednesday, August 1.
Coutts did her home town of Redlands proud, bagging Olympic gold and a bronze in the first two days of competition.
The 24-year-old two-time Olympian led the Aussie women's team to gold in the 100m freestyle relay, which took place in the early hours of Saturday morning.
She then backed up the next day, after "only three hours of sleep", to win bronze in 56.94sec in the 100m butterfly.
Coutts said she knew she would not win gold in the butterfly but thanked all her supporters on Twitter and said it was "strange" to see her face on an Australian postage stamp.
Mum Julie Coutts, who lives in Birkdale, was poolside when Alicia won her races, proudly waving the Aussie flags Bayside Bulletin gave her for luck.
Two-time Olympian and former Capalaba resident 24-year-old Sharleen Stratton came fifth in the 3m springboard synchronised diving with partner Annabelle Smith on Sunday.
Stratton will also dive in the heats of the individual 3m springboard event, which start from August 3.
In the men's volleyball, Capalaba's prolific pointscorer, the towering 212cm-tall Thomas Edgar was in fine form scoring 16 points and 17 spikes at the net.
Unfortunately, coach Jon Uriarte had to watch his Aussie team lose to Argentina, the side his son. Jon, was playing for in the match that ended in a three-nil loss to the Aussies.
The team will play hosts Great Britain, Bulgaria, Italy and Poland in their preliminary matches before the men's volleyball gold medal final on August 12, the last day of the Olympics.
Thornlands' Arnie Dickins, another first-time Olympic athlete from Redlands, was knocked out of the opening bout of the men's judo under-60kg judo competition on Sunday.
The 20-year-old, whose parents own Candlewich House in Cleveland, failed to score in his bout with Georgia's Betkili Shukvani.
Redland diver James Connor and race walker Nathan Deakes are yet to compete.
Connor will take to the 10m diving platform at 4am (AEST) on August 11 with the final due to be held at 5.30am on August 12 and Deakes will compete in the race walk at 6pm (AEST) on August 11.
