Teachers plead for return of bikes for disabled

TEACHERS from Redland District Special School at Thornlands are pleading for the return of their five disability bikes that were stolen during the school holidays.

Principal Sharon John said all the bikes were large disability tricycles that were stolen from a shed after thieves pried open a locked door.

"A few years ago, several of our bikes were stolen, but we were able to recover most of them and then had assistance from the community to have them repaired," she said.
