THE ALP certainly has a problem.
The Opposition leader and his cohorts have managed to denigrate a well performing woman PM so much that most voters believe them.
But how would they perform in government? The success of this negativity is no guarantee whatever for good government after electoral success. Probably to the contrary.
How about US Ambassador Kim Beazley? He was not a great Opposition Leader perhaps but his experience in government is very extensive.
Only 61 now Beazley has plenty to give still. Could he be drafted?
Would he want the job? Would Ms. Gillard stand aside for Beazley?
