Motorcycles on show in Cleveland

MOTOR cycles will roar into the Redlands Showground Norm Price Park on Sunday for the Club Laverda Queensland Concours 2012.

The Concours at Cleveland will be the second event presented by the club, after the event outgrew the Kangaroo Point venue at Captain Burke Park, where it was held for the 22 years.

A static motorcycle display will offer 54 trophies and $2000 prizemoney for the best machine.

The concours is alcohol-free and funds raised will assist the Make a Wish Foundation, which has benefited by more than $37,500 from the event.

Motorcycle trade stalls, enthusiast club displays, food vendors and rides for the kids will be part of the activities.
