A ticker tape parade will be held through the streets of Brisbane for the Olympic athletes on Friday, August 24.
A parade through the Queen Street Mall will start at midday and finish with a public presentation of athletes on stage at Reddacliff Place.
Roads will be closed in Brisbane city for the event.
Queen Street, between Creek and Edward streets, will be closed to traffic between 11am and 12.30pm.
Edward Street, between Adelaide and Elizabeth streets, will be closed between 12pm and 12.15pm.
George Street, between Adelaide and Elizabeth streets, will be closed between 12pm and 12.30pm.
