Cornubia servo held at knife point 

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station on Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road at Cornubia early this morning.

Around 2.10am a man filled up a vehicle with petrol before entering the store and threatening the attendant with a knife.

The man damaged surveillance equipment before unsuccessfully trying to open a safe and leaving the store.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his 30s with a solid build, dark hair and a full beard with a goatee.
