A 24-year-old man has died in hospital after a hit-and-run south of Brisbane on Friday night.
The Crestmead man suffered serious internal and head injuries after being struck by a car believed to have been travelling at 80km/h on Kingston Road, Waterford, about 9.40pm.
Despite undergoing emergency surgery, he died today in the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
