Multiculture group
WeR1, a multicultural group that welcomes new members, whether migrant or not, will meet again on Friday, August 24 from 10am until noon at the Redlands Community Centre, Capalaba.

Soroptimist talk
SOROPTIMIST International Bayside invites members of the public to its next dinner meeting at the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club, 92 Wondall Rd, Manly West, on Monday, August 27, at 6.45 for a 7pm start.
The cost is $25. Guest speaker Jean McDonald-Smith is a researcher, health advocate and author of How to Save the Planet from your Bathtub. Over the past two decades, Jean has seen a dramatic rise in babies, children, teenagers and adults experiencing chronic health challenges due to everyday chemicals. Her presentation will reveal important insights into the impact of chemicals on our lives.
